Zipho Mhlongo studied Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Zululand and completed the Masters Psychologist training programme at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in Pietermaritzburg in 2009. Upon qualifying as a professional clinical psychologist, he worked at the Newcastle Provincial Hospital. He also worked at the Gauteng Department of Social Development where he provided psychological services aimed at ameliorating disruptive and behavioural challenges among children and adolescents.

Zipho further holds a measure of experience in forensic psychology having worked in the Department of Correctional Services for two years. Additionally, he has experience in student counselling, having worked at three different higher education tertiary institutions, namely: UKZN, UJ and UCT. Zipho served as Principal Psychologist at UCT's Student Wellness Service where he headed the mental health team of clinicians. He now functions in full time private practice in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. His areas of professional interest are trauma, bereavement, sexuality and intimate partner interventions.

Siboniso Ndlangamandla studied at Horizons Development Technologies where he obtained a National Certificate in Information Technology. He also holds a certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
